Access to public information
It is the right of every person to access information in the possession of obligated subjects, as established by Decree 57-2008. It is essential to promote transparency and accountability of public entities and to encourage citizen participation. Access to information is guaranteed through the information that obligated subjects must publish, as well as through the information request process.
Submission Form
It is the procedure by which access to public information is initiated and must be formulated through the information unit. The Superintendency of Tax Administration makes available the following format to send a request.
Public Information Unit
It is the agency responsible for receiving requests for information, as well as everything related to the obligations established by the Access to Public Information law. The Public Information Unit of the Superintendency of Tax Administration (UIPSAT) is made up of:
