Presentation and Analysis of Supplementary Export Declaration

Requirements
1 If it is related to a Simplified Declaration, you must perfect the export with a complementary Declaration by submitting it to the Customs of departure within 3 days of shipment. (Article 372 of RECAUCA).
2 If it is related to a Provisional Declaration, you must perfect the export with a complementary Declaration by submitting it to the Customs of exit within 5 days from the date of completion of loading the merchandise. (Article 331 and 332 of RECAUCA)
3 Attached to the Supplementary Declaration:

  • Commercial invoice.
  • Declaration for Export Registration and Control (DEPREX).
  • ANACAFÉ certificate as appropriate.
  • Transport document.
  • In the case of consolidated cargo companies, you must present a photocopy of the master transport document.
  • In both cases; For both the Simplified and Provisional Declaration, you must present the carrier's copy signed and stamped by the Customs Official who processed the entry into the Customs Precinct.

Special cases

1. Penalty if the Supplementary Declaration of a Provisional Declaration is submitted out of time: $CA 300.00 (Central American Pesos are equivalent to USD$ 300.00), which does not exempt the exporter from the tax and legal consequences that arise from the SAT's inspection activities.
